Supporting and developing educational projects

Support for «PROBIGUA, PROYECTO BIBLIOTECAS» (The Probigua Libraries Project) and development of the school network in GUATEMALA.

In 2007, the Foundation acquired a plot of land in Yepoteca in GUATEMALA to enable the primary school to expand.

«ESCUELA PRIMARIA FRANCIA» (French Primary School): in 2008, support for its improvement projects: solar panels, a nursery for plants, furniture for the library, computers etc., Mata de Madera Community in Apure State, VENEZUELA.

« ESCUELA BASICA UWOTJUJA», (Elementary School of La Seguera Community): financial assistance for the purchase of school furniture and stationery for the pupils. Raudal Seguera Community, Autana Municipality, in Amazonas State, VENEZUELA.

Support for non-governmental and international organizations

  • The Foundation supports NGOs in aid of cultural and educational development: Save the Children, Unicef, Action Against Hunger, Robin Hood (Switzerland)…
  • The Brownstone Foundation participates in the projects of the Center for International Policy (CIP).

Art as an instigator of development and social cohesion

The Foundation supports artistic initiatives in difficult neighborhoods or sensitive areas. In this way, art and culture are used to play a part in developing individuals characters and their respect for those of others, as well as favoring the evolution and perpetuation of social activity, providing a new way of thinking about and looking at life from individual and collective viewpoints.


In 2013, the Foundation made ​​a materials donation to students of Casa Antonia Eiriz community workshop paper mache to Juanelo, District of Havana, Municipality of San Miguel de Padua.


Since 2012, support the development of cultural activities (music, dance, visual arts, theater, poetry) in  Las Delicias area, El Cotorro Municipality, Havana, Cuba. Donation of musical instruments and support to the creation of a community cultural center.



In 2013, Support the purchase of equipment for the environmental education’s program of the Havana Botanical Garden.
